biography.
at a very young age (11 years old) esther duijn was captivated by the magical sound of house-music and only 2 years later she tasted the vibe of house music at underground parties.
the way dj’s created a fantasy world with these rhythmic electronic sounds inspired her to start dj’ing herself.
in 1998 esther started organizing her own houseparties and her musical taste further evolved. since then a lot has changed; between 2002 and 2007 her dj’ing career really took of in the netherlands as well as abroad. she organized multiple events including (in)famous zink! and makro parties at the ms stubnitz and she was resident dj on the former id&t radiostation. her set at the mobilee label beachparty during the sonar festival barcelona was one of the highlites of 2007.
in 2007 esther duijn joined the famous moon harbour bookingsagency which also provides management to great artists like matthias tanzmann and luna city express. moon harbour booking will be responsible for her worldwide bookings.
2008 has been a real rocket ride for esther; she played at amazing clubs like panoramabar & zur wilden renate in berlin, club 11 & studio 80 in amsterdam, the u60 afterclub in frankfurt & beach yeah! during the sonar festival in barcelona (to name a few).
also this year soulrock has asked esther to be one of their artist. soulrock will be responsible for her dutch bookings.
2009, esther duijn is one of the resident dj's of the vinyl people clubnight at the amazing trouw, amsterdam.

next to spinning records, collecting rare vinyl, esther duijn is currently expanding her creativity by producing music, alone and together with her partner in crime steady douglas as “duijn&douglas”. also she started to collaborate with campati as “duijn & campati”.
