biography.
michael melchner is barely at the beginning of his 20s. after winning a dj contest at the age of 18, michael was awarded a gig at "kiss klub", a monthly party at nuremberg's most renonwed club for electronic music, "die rakete".

shortly afterwards, he was appointed resident and started producing his own tracks. production-wise, he's taking shine to deep house of the late nineties, intending to transfer the era's specific vibe to the present; especailly its warm sound and well dosed house beats.

his first ep, "the things you did", which michael released on cargo edition in 2008, reveals his broad musical spectrum: on the one hand, with its brickwork of classical house beats, his music is clearly designed for the dancefloor. on the other hand, it possesses a certain character of its own, which is rarely to be found in current productions.
